We cordially invite you to join the 2023 Quantum Materials Symposium!
This symposium has successfully gathered prominent scientists in the field of condensed matter physics and has established
itself as a representative annual meeting of the condensed matter division of Korean Physical Society. During the six-day
symposium, we hope to cover various topics in condensed matter physics such as quantum magnetism, superconductivity,
mesoscopic physics, topological materials, oxide semiconductors, quantum computers & simulations
with strong correlation, etc.
The workshop series has especially been designed to play a crucial role in stimulating theoretical and experimental efforts
in these important and already demonstrated very promising fields, not only in Korea but also worldwide.
We aim at continuing the tradition to act as a catalyst for new ideas of design and experimentation.
The activity would surely get enriched by the event following the very successful series.
In keeping with our tradition of hosting the symposium in a relaxed atmosphere, QMS2023 will be held at Yongpyong Ski
Resort, the place of 2018 Winter Olympics.
This symposium is sponsored by several organizations in South Korea including the Asia-Pacific Center for Theoretical
Physics (APCTP), Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), Max Planck POSTECH/Korea Research Initiative, SNU 10-10 Project,
and the Center for Lattice Defectronics at KAIST.
We sincerely ask your continuous support and interest in QMS2023. We look forward to seeing all of you
in Yongpyong in 2023.
Kind Regards,
